The Shortsword is a one handed fast attacking melee weapon with a small to negligible knockback. They are used best when kiting the enemy back(retreating out of range of the enemies attacks while striking). The shortsword is swung in a stabbing motion to the front.

Shortswords, like other one handed weapons can be dual wielded with either a utility item(flashlight) a one handed gun, or another one handed sword or dagger. Shields are also a viable option. This can be extremely effective if you combine a sword with a projectile and a secondary with a Status on hit effect doubling your potential damage output.

All generated names consist of three randomly selected surnames and as such it is very rare for any weapon to have the same name and stats. Appearance and Status effects are consistent however.
