The Thorny Needler is a ranged weapon that can be crafted by the player. It can also be found in chests in arid worlds. A decent alternative to randomly-spawned assault rifles of its tier, the Needler can be a great addition to a player's arsenal if they were unable to obtain any (decent) guns for some reason, or is not a Novakid. On the flip side, the Needler's projectiles are somewhat inaccurate and are affected by gravity, making it mostly useful at close range.
